When You Call for Help, Nobody Hears You

It's 2 AM. Glass breaks downstairs.

You grab your phone and dial the local police. It rings. And rings.

When someone finally picks up, they tell you a unit is 45 minutes away.

You're alone. Your nearest neighbor is a kilometer down the road.

They have no idea what's happening to you right now.

Every Second Counts. Every Option Fails.

You have minutes, not hours. You race through every option you can think of — and they all fail for a different reason. The people who could actually help are two minutes away. But nobody's coming.

Emergency Alerts That Actually Work

SafetyNet is built from the ground up for one job: getting help to you fast.

Alerts Your Entire Neighborhood

Not just 3 contacts. Every verified member within your community gets an alarm-level alert. The more neighbors, the faster help arrives.

Wakes People Up at Night

Emergency alerts bypass silent mode with alarm-level audio and full-screen notifications. Even at 2 AM, your neighbors will hear it.

Live Location & Streaming

Responders see your real-time location and can join a live audio/video stream. They know exactly where you are and what's happening.

Stays Ready When Other Apps Die

A built-in Readiness Score monitors your alert pipeline. If something breaks — permissions revoked, app hibernated — you'll know before an emergency.

Built to Resist Abuse

A trust ladder prevents misuse. New members must be verified before they can trigger alerts. Rate limits, strikes, and audit logs keep your community safe.

Works Without Internet

Uses Bluetooth to reach nearby phones — no cell service needed. Alerts hop device-to-device through mesh relay, then sync to the cloud when any device reconnects.

How It Works

Four steps to a safer neighborhood.

1

Create or Join Your Community

Start a neighborhood network or join one with an invite link. Phone verification keeps memberships real.

2

Complete the Readiness Checklist

A guided setup ensures your phone is configured to receive emergency alerts — even at night, even in silent mode.

3

One Tap to Alert Everyone

Hold the SOS button. A countdown gives you time to cancel. Release, and every verified neighbor gets an alarm-level alert with your live location.

4

Your Community Responds

Neighbors see who's responding, navigate to your location, and coordinate in real time. You're never alone.

Features in Detail

Emergency Broadcast, Not Emergency Contacts

Traditional safety apps send alerts to 3–5 preselected contacts. But in a real emergency, the people who can help fastest are the ones physically nearby — not the ones in your phone book.

SafetyNet alerts every verified member of your community. The neighbor across the street. The retired paramedic two houses down. The night-shift worker who's already awake. Everyone who can actually reach you.

Full Reach

No Internet? Your Neighbors Still Hear You.

SafetyNet uses Bluetooth to broadcast an SOS beacon directly to nearby phones — no internet, no cell service needed. Nearby devices detect the beacon even with the screen off and sound an alarm-level alert.

Alerts hop device-to-device through a mesh relay, spreading further down the street. When any device reconnects, the alert bridges to the cloud and triggers push notifications, SMS, and voice calls to your full community.

Live Streaming & Evidence Capture

When you trigger an alert, SafetyNet can automatically start a live stream so responders get real-time situational awareness. If your connection degrades, the system automatically falls back through a quality ladder to keep information flowing.

Everything is recorded server-side for evidence. Even on the worst connection, your community gets the information they need to respond safely.

Every Community Deserves a Safety Net

Rural Township

A farming community with the nearest police post 40 minutes away. When livestock theft escalated, neighbors needed a way to rally together instantly.

Isolated Homesteads

Homesteads spread across kilometers of farmland. Medical emergencies, break-ins, or veldfires can turn deadly when help is far away.

Gated Community

Even with security gates and cameras, response coordination falls apart at 3 AM. Guards can't be everywhere. Residents can.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will SafetyNet be available?
We're building the app now and onboarding pilot communities. Join the waitlist to get early access when we launch.
How is this different from a WhatsApp group?
WhatsApp messages are silent by default, arrive on a best-effort basis, and get buried in chat. SafetyNet delivers alarm-level alerts that wake people up, shares live location, and streams audio/video — purpose-built for emergencies.
What prevents people from abusing the alert?
A trust ladder requires identity verification before members can trigger emergency alerts. Rate limits, progressive strikes, and immutable audit logs discourage misuse. Community admins have full moderation control.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. SafetyNet uses Bluetooth to send emergency alerts directly to nearby phones — no internet or cell service required. Alerts can hop device-to-device through a mesh relay to reach further. When any device reconnects, the full cloud system kicks in with push notifications, SMS, and voice calls.
What is the Readiness Score?
It's a health check for your emergency alert pipeline. It monitors whether notifications are enabled, the app hasn't been hibernated, and your phone can receive full-screen emergency alerts. If something breaks, you'll know before an emergency happens.
Is my data private?
Emergency recordings are encrypted and access-controlled. Only community members involved in an incident can view recordings, with admin oversight. We don't sell data. Period.
